You earn when someone you bring chooses Barside Plus: 30% of each Plus payment, for their first 12 months.
How it works.
Join in Barside.
Open Settings → Creators, choose your code and click Join. Anyone can join, and your link and code work right away.
Share your link or your code.
Your link, barside.space/r/your-code, opens the free download page. People who saw your video on a phone can type your code later, in Settings → Plus.
Get paid each month.
When someone you brought pays for Barside Plus, 30% of that payment without tax is yours. Payouts go to your bank through Stripe.
What you earn
30% of Plus, for 12 months.
The 12 months start with the person's first Plus payment. Barside stays free for everyone, so most people never pay, and that is fine: you earn only when someone chooses Plus on their own.
Who can join
Anyone with a Barside account.
You need a Barside account with a Spaces profile, nothing else. To get paid, you connect a Stripe account from Settings → Creators, the same way Space owners do. Stripe can pay creators in Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom, the European Economic Area and Switzerland.
A few things to know.
Does my audience pay anything?
No. Barside is free. Your link opens the normal download page. Barside Plus is an optional add-on that people can choose later in the app.
Who counts as someone I brought?
A person who opens your link counts when they later buy Plus in the same browser, within 90 days. A person who types your code in Settings → Plus counts too. Each person counts for one creator: the first one. Before their first Plus payment, they can type another code themselves. After it, their creator stays the same. Only people who never paid for Plus before can be brought.
What can I see?
Numbers only: clicks on your link, people you brought, how many of them have Plus, and your money waiting, ready and paid. You never see who the people are.
What if someone asks for a refund?
A payment that is refunded or charged back during its 30 days earns nothing. If it happens after a payout, Stripe takes that share back from your account.
Can I use my own code?
No. Your own account and your own card earn nothing.
